The War on Women: And the Ones Who Fight Back is a powerful book, written by Sue Lloyd-Roberts. Sue was an English BBC reporter who spent 40 years of her life travelling across the globe, meeting some of the most remote and marginalised women in the world.
She compiled her most compelling stories in the pages of The War on Women. Sue was a fierce champion of women's rights and breaking the patriarchal traditions that so often encourage the degredation of women. She writes, "How is it that women make up 51% of the world's population, however we fight for respect and rights like any other repressed minority group."
